JD Adams, 69, of Oklahoma City passed away January 28, 2012, at Duncan Regional Hospital. He was born in Cleveland, OK, on November 30, 1942, to Andy & Sarah Mae Adams. He married Susan Drescher in Velma on November 20, 1965. They were happily married for 47 years. He worked for at Texaco Plant in Velma for 30 years before retiring. He was admired by everyone he worked with for being such a hard worker. He loved to go fishing and spending time with family. He was loved by everyone and will be missed. Survivors include his wife, Susan Adams of the home; son, John Adams & wife Lori of Eufaula; eight grandchildren, Kristina Mcnutt & husband Jason of Honolulu, K.C. Whitten of Duncan, Zackary Monroe of Duncan, Kyra Whitten of Elk City, Cory Adams of Eufaula, Erica Adams of Eufaula, Caleb Adams of Eufaula, Desiree Adams of Eufaula; three great-grandchildren, Kirsten Mcnutt of Honolulu, Rowdy Mcnutt of Honolulu, Bentley Adams of Eufaula; three sisters, Alice Hayes of Kansas, Betty Russel of Edmond, and Aline Lyons of Duncan; and one brother, Melvin Adams of New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Adams; and daughter, Kathy Ann Monroe.
