Velma Krueger Robnett, 91, went to be with her Lord and join many of her loved ones on January 29, 2012. She had a long, full life, revolving around her family, Church, friends, careers, and many different social clubs. Garden clubs were her favorite. She was so talented in flower arranging. Velma worked at many Air Bases in World War II, ending up at Tinker Air Force Base as an aircraft instrument panel inspector. After World War II, she married R.V. Robnett, Sr. and lived her life as a wife, mother, grandmother and a friend. She was a Stanley Home Products Dealer and manager for 60 years in Del City. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; husband of 48 years, R.V. "Robbie" Robnett, Sr.; and stepson, Lee Savage. She is survived by five children: Katherine Podwolsky and husband George, of Tucson, AZ; Juanita Windle and husband John, of Choctaw; Vester Robnett, Jr. and wife Susan, of Midwest City; Mary Owens and husband Dan, of Oklahoma City; and Richard Robnett and Shelly Whitney, of Oklahoma City. She was also survived by 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
