DECATUR -Garnet Jewell Arndt, 77, of Decatur died 12:34 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 26, 1992) in her home. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with
visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
Mrs. Arndt was born in Decatur on July 31, 1914, daughter of Markquis L. and Mary Ann Lee Booker. She was a seamstress for Eldorado Garment Factory and a member of First Christian Church. She married Darrel Arndt in 1934.
Surviving are her son, David Reed Arndt of Beaver, Ohio; daughter, Mrs. Larry (Shirley) Workman of Decatur; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
