Charles Hacker, one of the esteemed residents of the German settlement on Hill street, just off of North Jefferson street, died this morning at 4 o'clock, at the age of 58 years.
He had been resident of Ionia some twenty-five years, and is survived by the wife and three children; two sons, Herman and Emil, and one daughter, Anna, Mrs., William Dreger.
The funeral will be attended, from the late home at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran Church.
