Mrs. Gentry's Funeral Held January 1
Mrs. Ora Mae Gentry, 61 years old, wife of Charles E. Gentry, died at the family home near Bethel church, December 31 [1942], following a brief illness.
Mrs. Gentry was a splendid Christian woman and had many friends in the section where she resided.
She is survived by her husband and five children. Four children preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Friday, January 1, conducted by Rev. John
Miller at Bethel church. Burial was in the Bethel cemetery with Rippetoe funeral home [of Russell Springs] in charge of the remains.
The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
