Hollenback, Albert J. age 62, died Monday, August 30, 1976, at Saginaw General Hospital after a one day illness. Funeral services were held Friday, September 3, 1976 at St. Michael Church. New Lothrop, with the Rev. Fr. John Gentner officiating. Burial was in St. Michael Cemetery. A Scripture Service was held Thursday evening at O'Hare-Whelpey Funeral Home in New Lothrop. Mr. Hollenback was born December 29, 1913 in Maple Grove Township to Frank and Katherine Klein Hollenback. He was a life-long farmer and resided most of his life in Maple Grove Township. He married Esther Benkert September 27, 1941. Surviving are: his wife, Esther; daughter, Shelia Hollenback of Maple Grove Township: son, Albert M. of Maple Grove Township; brother, Linus of Chesaning: four sisters, Mrs. Hilda Cashin of Flint, Mrs. Mary Morrissette of Chesaning, Mrs. Christine Lasko of Swartz Creek, and Mrs. Leo (Barbara Natzel) of Flint: four grandchildren Scott, Jennifer, Kelli Sue, and Jodi Hollenback of Maple Grove: many nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by one son and two sisters.
