Juanita Marcella Griffith, 90, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. She was born to Madge (Russell) Zenor and Ira B. Zenor on New Years' Day, 1922. She spent her school years in Oklahoma City and attended The University of Oklahoma studying Art. Juanita met Howard Randel Grffith at Falls Creek Baptist Church Camp and they were married on June 7, 1941. Together, they owned and operated Griffith Nursery in Guthrie for 60 years. Juanita was a talented artist and often drew landscaping plans for their business.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Randel Griffith and her parents, Madge and Ira Zenor.

Survivors include a daughter Karen Griffith Marx of Norman; a son Gary Griffith and wife Juli of Manhattan, Kansas; a sister Ruth Miller and husband John of Casa Grande, Arizona; a brother Robert Zenor and wife Mary Jo of Utah; five grandsons Jeff Marx of Oklahoma City, Greg Marx of Edmond, T. SGT Michael Marx and wife Jennifer of San Antonio, Texas, Aaron Griffith and wife Anya of Irvine, California, and Alan Griffith of Corvallis Oregon; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City with Chaplin Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, Oklahoma. At the family's request, there will be no public visitation.
