Yvette (Arguin) Lavigne, age 79, passed away peacefully, January 27, 2012, with her children by her side, at Atria Senior Living in Fairhaven. She was the wife of the late Arthur A. Lavigne.
Mrs. Lavigne was born and lived most of her life in New Bedford before recently moving to Fairhaven. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann Eva (Laplante) Arguin.
Yvette was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and worked as a bookkeeper at Otis Air Force Base.
She was a member of the choir at St. Mary Church. She loved music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In recent years she enjoyed making new friends with the staff and residents at Atria, treating them all to "Sing Alongs with Yvette."
