She was born to Parents: Lewis A. Hall and Bertha Westbrook Hall on October 18, 1921 in Mount Olive, Mississippi.
After finishing high school and 1 year of junior college Lois entered nursing school at Mississippi Methodist Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. After finishing nurses training and receiving an R. N. Degree in April 1944, moved to Texas to work at the Goose Creek Hospital. In June 1961 she was employed by Dr. Eichelberger, Jr. as Office Nurse. She was still working part time when an accident in 2001 forced her to retire. Lois was also a 50 year member of the Second Baptist Church in Baytown.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Lewis A. Hall and Bertha Westbrook Hall; Brother: Thomas L. Hall and her beloved Husband of 52 years: Leon M. Chase.
Survivors include: Sons: Bruce W. Chase of Baytown, Richard K. Chase and his wife Debbie of Austin, Jeffrey L. Chase and his wife Daphne of Bastrop and Stacy Leon Chase of Houston; Grandsons: Bryan, Jeremy and Michael Chase of Austin; Granddaughters: Amanda, Tara and Katherine Chase of Austin; Sister: Loriene Ferguson of Deer Park; Brother: Louis Hoyt Hall and his wife Maggie of Arkansas; Nephews: Ed Ferguson and his wife Debbie of Baytown and Louis Howard Hall and his wife Tammy of Arkansas.
In Lieu of flowers and other remembrances, donations may be made to the Baytown Senior Center Meals-on-wheels Program.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown.
Services will be held at 9:00 A.M., Friday, November 16, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating with burial to follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown under the direction of Navarre Funeral Home.
