Born in Union Dale, PA on September 11, 1922, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Willard and Doris (Burns) Gibson. Besides her parents, Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Allen, who passed on January 2, 2010 and her daughter-in-law Frances Wright. Mrs. Wright had lived in Charlotte since 1994 and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She is survived by her sons, B. Allen Wright and his companion Deb Zeller of Midland, Gary E. Wright of Denver; grandchildren, B. Allen Wright, Jr. of Mooresville, Michael S. Wright of Stanley, Jason A. Wright of Daytona Beach, FL; great-grandchildren, Allison C. Wright of Stanley, Leah C. Wright of Midland, Mason A. Wright of Stanley; sister-in-law, Ilene Bondy of Northville Township, MI as well as nephew Richard and Susan Bondy and their family. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, 7632 Hood Road, at the corner of Robinson Church Rd., Charlotte.
