BIBB Blanche Dean, 94, of Danville, formerly of Lexington, died Sun. Born July 12, 1915 at Camp Dick Robinson, KY. She was the daughter of the late Charles M. and Mary Grace Davis Dean. Blanche graduated from the Nicholasville High School and was a waitress in Lexington. She retired from Woolworth's in Lexington and had also worked at Aunt Prudy's Restaurant. She was the widow of Marvin Tinsley Bibb and a member of Lexington Ave. Baptist Church, Danville. In Lexington she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she was the past president of her Sunday School class. She is survived by four sons, David Allen Bibb (Elizabeth), Danville, Gayle Dean Bibb (Phyllis Walker Bibb), Elizabethtown, and twins, Donald Ray Bibb (Cheryl), Louisville, and Ronad Clay Bibb (Rebecca Sims), Danville; a brother in law, Elmer T. Lee, Frankfort, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be 11am, Thu, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Nicholasville. Visitation will be from 5-8pm, Wed at Stith Funeral Home. The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Lexington Ave. Baptist Church, Danville, or the Gideon's International.
