He was the nephew of Hiram Tutorow who is also buried at Willow Branch. He grew up in Brown County. He married Nancy Jane Pruitt Nov. 10, 1878; he married second to Mary Wetzel Schlosser Aug 18, 1892. He was the father of four children: Wiley Edward, Charles Allen, Emma Mae and George. He died as a result of injuries sustained by being struck by an auto. This happened while he was walking along the road in the New Castle. I searched for the headstone years ago and did not find it.

Possible daughter: Marie Alice Tutrow Hageman (1890-1919).
