Mrs. Roxie Berry Allen, 85 of Grove Oak, died Thursday, January 24, 2012 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services were held Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 2 p.m. from Piney Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Mitchell and the Rev. Ronny Murdock officiating.
Burial followed in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include: son, Bobby Allen of Grove Oak; daughter, Nella (Jerry) Myers of Grove Oak; brothers, C.T. Berry and Charlie Berry of Grove Oak; sisters, Sarah Smith of Menlow, Ga., Zona Mitchell of Grove Oak, Lida Murdock of Grove Oak; grandchildren, Marty Myers, Mary Myers Crosby, Dr. Chad Garmany, Justin Garmany and Kristin Allen; great-grandchildren, Caden Crosby, Mason Myers, Madison Myers, Amelia Garmany and Lucas Garmany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Allen; parents, Guy and Beaulah Berry; brothers, Calvin, Tip and Weldon Berry and sister, Bonnie Graden.
