Dwain Stanley "Man" Colvin (1925 - 2012)

Dwain "Man" Stanley Colvin, 86, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Saturday in King Cemetery in Aley, with Ned Mullins and Harold Colvin officiating. Visitation: noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home in Kemp. Dwain was born to Warren Colvin and Jodie Greenhaw Colvin of Aley. He served as a sergeant in the Army, 6th Infantry Division, Company C, 6th Engineering "C" Battalion, from 1943 to 1946. His battles and campaigns included New Guinea and Luzon, Philippines. He was predeceased by his mother and father; three brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors: Dwain will be forever remembered by his children, Thomas Stanley Colvin, Teresa Kay White and Regina Mae Timko. He is also survived by two brothers; two sisters; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
