EMMETT LEE TURNER.
Monroe City, Mo., Dec. 9.—Funeral services for Emmett Lee Turner, former Emden resident, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 in the Andrew chapel. Burial will be in Andrew chapel cemetery.
Mr. Turner died Saturday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Virginia Wolfe in La Crosse, Wis. He was born in Shelby county. April 29. 1867. a son of James W. and Martha W. Turner.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Laura V. Brown of Philadelphia and Mrs. Wolfe and son, Ernest Turner of Philadelphia.

E. L. TURNER DIES IN WISCONSIN
Emmett Lee Turner, 85, former resident of Emden community died suddenly, December 6, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Virginia Woolfe, in La Crosse, Wis. The body was returned to Monroe City to await funeral rites at Andrew Chapel, this afternoon, Wednesday, at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Son of James and Martha Mc-Glasson, he was born in Shelby county, April 29, 1867.
Surviving with his daughter are three grandchildren; a brother, Hurley J. Turner and as sister, Mrs. Laura V. Brown, both of Philadelphia.
