MRS. BERTA TURNER
Mrs. Berta Turner, 63 years old, died at 3:10 o'clock Sunday afternoon in St. Elizabeth hospital in Hannibal, where she had been a patient since Friday. Mrs. Turner, who was employed at the Weyand cafe in this city, was stricken Friday and removed to the hospital.
The body was removed to the Sprague funeral home where funeral services were held at 1 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by the Rev. John W. Golden, of Hannibal. Burial was in the cemetery at Stoutsville, Mo.
Mrs. Turner was a native of Marion county, born March 10, 1883. Her husband, Dudley Lee Turner, died May 7, 1937.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Lorenze Crook, of Hunnewell, Mo., Mrs. Herman Lilly, of Philadelphia, Mo., and L. B. Turner, of 1218 Center Street, Hannibal. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. Ella Bledsoe, two sisters, Misses Annie and Vergie Bledsoe, a brother, John Bledsoe, all of Mexico, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Gary Wayne Lilly of Philadelphia and Karen Ann Turner, of Hannibal.
