"John L. Hill of Earlton, passed away on December 30, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Waldron in that community. Funeral services were held on Monday morning at ten o'clock from the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Coxsackie. Masonic services were conducted Sunday evening by Ark Lodge No. 48 of Coxsackie.
Mr. Hill was born in the Town of Greenville in 1870, the son of Washington and Electa Losee Hill. He is survived by three cousins, Omar T. and Leland Losee of Surprise, and Dr. Irving Losee of Albany."
Reportedly he lived in Croton at one time.
