Mrs Otho Armstrong, of Silverville, who had been in failing health for the past eight years, and was in a serious condition the past six weeks, passed away Wednesday 11:55 pm at the Dunn Hospital. The remains were taken to the Roach Funeral Home for preparation and taken this afternoon to the home of the sister of the deceased. Mrs Nellie Armstrong 2324 I street where they will lie in state until Friday 1 pm.
Della May Hall was born in Williams, September 5, 1889 to Sheridan and Nancy Gardner Hall and at her passing was 45 years 3 months, and 15 days of age. She was one of the most prominent women of her community. She was a devout member of the Silverville Baptist Church where she was the organist for many years. She was active in all of the work of the church.
She is survived by the husband and parents of Silverville, two sisters, Mrs. Armstrong, Bedford and Mrs Bertha Craig, Williams, two nephews and one niece.
The funeral services will take place Friday 2 pm in the Silverville Baptist church. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
