Juanita Addison MARION-Juanita Addison, 83, of Marion passed away at 6:35 PM, Thursday, June 22, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the Blue Funeral home in Marion with Reverend Rick Dawson officiating and Reverend Donald Bethel with the eulogy. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Addison was born on August 9, 1922 in Marion, Illinois to Jewell Guy and Elma Mae (Houston) Bethel. She married Carl Addison on February 15, 1938 in Jackson, Missouri; he preceded her in death on February 6, 1981. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Franklin and Roxanne Addison of McComb, Mississippi and James Addison of Decatur; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Pryslak and Frank Kolbala of Florida; grandchildren, Amanda, Brandy, Stephanie, Renee, Candice, William `Bill`, Robert, Karl, Wendell and Michelle; several great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Addison Roberts of Marion; brother and sister-in-law, Reverend Donald and Sarah Bethel of Marion; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son, Carl Fowler Addison; great grandson, Justin Carl Huckstep; and brothers, Jewell `Junior` Bethel and William G. Bethel. Mrs. Addison was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She formerly worked as a caregiver for the elderly and she was a homemaker.
