The body of Harley P. Archer was interred in the Coatesville Cemetery, Monday, following services in the Flanner & Buchanan Hall Mortuary in Plainfield. He died Friday, in the Robert W. Long Hospital, Indianapolis, at the age of 56.

A native of the Coatesville community, he lived at Amo until he moved to Indianapolis four years ago. He was employed with the Marmon-Herrington Company for 18 years as a welder. He was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church.

He is survived by the widow, Clarice Archer, Indianapolis; three daughters, Mrs. Myron Wheeler, of Amo; Mrs. Ann McCloud Reeb, of Danville; Mrs. Robert Clark, of Martinsville; a son, George Archer, of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. John Lovell and Mrs. James Early, of Indianapolis; a brother, Roland Archer, of North Rose, N. Y.; father, George Archer Sr., of Indianapolis; and 10 grandchildren.
