Mary (Polly) Bowen, 83, died May 7, 2008, at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She was born Oct. 18, 1924, in Tupelo to Dyke and Lola Vashti Potts Spencer. She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Church of Christ. She was formerly of Itawamba County, Miss.
Graveside services were with burial in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included two sons, Jimmy (Marilyn) Bowen of Memphis and Larry Bowen of Arkabutler, Miss; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clint Bowen.
