Emma M. Molstedt died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1987, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was 96, a native of Sweden and resident of Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Religious services and burial will be held in West Chester, Pa.

Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Waterman Allen Taft III, West Indies; a son, Byron V. Molstedt, Baton Rouge; a grandson, W. Allen Taft IV, West Chester, Pa.; two granddaughters, Mrs. James L. (Sharon) Quarles, Bethesda, Md., and Mrs. Michael (Deborah) Megless, Chester Springs, Pa.; and six great-grandchildren, Kristopher and Andrew Taft, Matthew and Jessica Quarles, Caleigh and Joseph Megless.

Preceded in death by husband, A. Victor Molstedt.

Emma Molstedt, 96, of Baton Rouge, La., formerly of Birmingham Township, died Dec. 22 in the Heritage Manor, Baton Rouge, La. after a short illness. She was the widow of Victor Molstedt.

Born in Sweden, she was a daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Severson Sjoberg.

She had lived in Baton Rouge, La. for the past year and before that in Maine where she moved after living in Birmingham Township, Chester County.

Surviving are a son, Byron of Baton Rouge, La., a daughter Pauline Elizabeth Taft of Yarmouth, Me,; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
