DEATH OF MRS. WALTER AURAND – Mrs. Walter Aurand died at 1 o'clock this afternoon at her home, East of Vira. Mrs. Aurand had been ill for nearly a year from cancer of the stomach. She was 48 years of age and is survived by her husband and three sons, Hendren and Howard, at home and Herman, Vira.
Funeral arrangements will be held at the house on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in Mt. Rock cemetery.

MRS. WALTER AURAND – Mrs. Walter Aurand, aged 46 years, 6 months and 3 days, died at her home, east of Vira, Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, after an illness of nearly a year caused by cancer of the stomach.
She was the daughter of Henry and Milda (Knepp) Ritter and was born near Vira. She leaves her husband and three sons, Hendren, and Howard at home and Herman of Vira.
She attended the Methodist church and was a woman of excellent character. She enjoyed the esteem and respect of a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. A highly respected and much loved neighbor and wife and mother has passed from her early scenes to her last, long rest to the land where sorrow and separations are not known.
Her funeral will be held form her late residence Saturday forenoon, 10 o'clock with interment in Mt. Rock cemetery, Lewistown.
