Services for Carol Greenhill, 60, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. today at W.W. Rix Chapel with the Rev. Syl Moore officiating. Burial will be at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Greenhill died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004.
Carol was born Sept. 20, 1943 in Slaton, Texas to Monroe, Sr. and Lydia Heinrich Buxkemper. She was a graduate of Slaton High School and Draughon's Business College. Carol married Bob Greenhill on Feb. 13, 1987 in Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Greenhill was employed as an accountant with TMN&O Coaches for over 20 years and three years with KLBK. She was an active member of the University Medical Center Auxiliary and was currently serving as president. Mrs. Greenhill was also active with the Cuddle Club at the Neonatal Unit in University Medical Center. She had been a supporter and active tutor with the LISD's H.O.S.T.S. program. Mrs. Greenhill was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Greenh ill; children, Lisa Reid, Cindy Ferguson, Lori Davee, Bobby Greenhill, and Jeff Greenhill; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Lydia Buxkemper; siblings, Roger, Leslie, Steve, Monroe, Jr., and Joe Buxkemper, Nancy Polk, Shirley Dodson, Joyce Gamble, Arlene Becker, Mary Bradford, Elaine Orr, and Connie Buxkemper.
