BRADLEY RYAN GOODRICH Services for Bradley Ryan Goodrich, 31, formerly of St. Marys, IA, who passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012, will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 16, 2012 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, Iowa, with burial following in the St. Marys Cemetery. Brad was born May 4, 1980, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Larry and Karen Goodrich. He graduated from Martensdale St. Marys Community School in 1998 and the University of Northern Iowa in 2003. Brad was employed as a sales professional for Des Moines Bolt Company. He was a proud father with a passion for life, the outdoors and rooting for the Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeyes. He enjoyed time playing Texas Hold 'Em and watching UFC; however, nothing surpassed his devotion to his son Cade, family and dear friends. Brad is survived by his son, Cade Bradley Goodrich, the light of his life; parents, Larry and Karen Goodrich, St. Marys; sister, Kerry Goodrich, Truro; great-grandmother, Gertie Goodrich, Indianola; grandparents, Donald Goodrich, St. Marys; Mitchell and Mary Cunningham, Mission, Texas; Cade's mother, Kelly Goodrich, West Point; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, his girlfriend, and friends. Brad was preceded in death by his infant son, Cole Bradley Goodrich; grandmother, Darlene Goodrich; and grandfather, Benny Beck.Brad touched the lives of many people with his smile, kind spirit and incomparable sense of humor. His spirit will live on in the life of his son and the family and friends who knew him best.Visitation will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 15 at Overton Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the family to establish an educational trust for Brad's son, Cade Goodrich.
