My Great Uncle's Wife. Born Rosina Gatt, she came from the island of Gozo, Malta, and following her marriage to Marcello Orlando (1912 - 1995), a blacksmith, in 1930, she moved first to Tarxien, Malta, and later to Australia, where they settled at Merrylands, Sydney. Mothering three children, she was bedridden for several years prior to her death. A sister of hers, Sr. Maria Silvia Gatt, who died in 1986, was a Franciscan Nun of the Community of Victoria, Gozo.
