George Edward Arnott was the son of John Ritchie Arnott and Alice Jane Miles Arnott. After George and Grace Pease married in Spokane in 1904, they removed to Alberta Canada to homestead in 1906. Their first two children died in infancy in Washington. In Canada they had four children, two girls, Alice Faye and Ruth Sarah; and two boys, Albert Ritchie and Ralph Edward. In 1926, they moved to Anacortes, Washington due to Graces poor health.
