Jane was born September 12, 1923, in Bolckow, Missouri, daughter of the late Roy Ellis and Verdie Clemmons Wilson.
She married Galen Hubert West, October 08, 1943, in Troy, Kansas. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1976.
In her early years Jane taught at the Gray Grove Rural School. She also operated the former Chris and Jane's Cafe, Maryville, MO. Jane was a cook at Parkdale Manor Care Center for 23 years before her retirement. Her memberships include the Clearmont Christian Church and the WN (Willing Neighbors) Club both of Clearmont.
Survivors include two sons, Jim (Diane) West, Florence, CO, Galen West, Maryville, MO, step-son Lowell Dean West, King City, MO, sister, Eileen Chitwood, New Franklin, MO, two step-grandchildren Larry Dean and Susie West, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services at 2:00 PM at the Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville, MO. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Clearmont, Missouri.
