Mrs Ollie Irene Ankney, 64, of Davis St., Syacmore, passed away at 3:45 a.m. today, July 11, 1968, in the Wyandot Memorial Hospital, where she was pa patient for four days. She had been seriously ill for two months, and death was attributed to complications. Born on August 30, 1903, in Morral Ohio, she was the daughter of Orlando and Lula (Cox) Rinehart. On June 30, 1923 she married Kenneth J. Ankney, who expired October 12, 1944. Surving are two sons, Kenneth W. Ankney and Richard D. Ankney, both of Sycamore; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Virgil Rinehart of Galion and Pollie Rinehart of Mt. Gilead, and one sister, Mrs. Harold (Grace) Tupps of Bennett, Colorado. Mrs. Ankney was a clerk employed by the H. & G. Foodland of Sycamore, a member of the United Church of Christ and the Faza Sunday School Class. She had lived in the community for 29 years, coming from Marion County. Last rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Moore Funreal Home withe the Rev. Ronald Loy officiating. Interment will be made in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Friends may call at the funreal home after 7:30 p.m. Friday.
