Prominent citizen Dies Suddenly at His Home

Phillippe E. Beaudoin, prominent Berlin citizen, died suddenly at his home at 38 High Street Friday, January 23.

He was born June 2, 1861 in St. Henri, Levis, P.Q. the son of Germain and Marie Bilodeau Beaudoin.

Mr. Beaudoin was a resident of Berlin for 68 years. Before retiring 20 years ago, he operated a shoe store for 39 years.

He was president of the Berlin Savings Bank and Trust Co., for the past 23 years, a member of the Berlin Lodge of Elks and a member of the Artisan Society.

His wife Adelia Beaudoin died several years ago. Surviving are four sons, Dr. Leandre Beaudoin, Anthony and Leopold Beaudoin, of Berlin and Melchior Beaudoin of Boston, Mass, Miss Germaine Beaudoin of Berlin, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, one brother, Onesime Beaudoin of Berlin.
