Deby Ann Baker, 55, of Roselle, formerly of Washington, D.C., will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon Saturday, Dec. 27, at Harvest Bible Chapel, Rolling Meadows Campus, 800 Rohlwing Road, Rolling Meadows, with Jim Jodrey officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, 2900 State Route 157, Edwardsville, Ill.
   Born July 21, 1953, in Granite City, Ill., she passed away Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, in Elk Grove Village.
   Deby graduated in 1975 from DePauw University, Greencastle, Ind.  Deby was initiated into Delta Gamma Fraternity in 1972 and was a lifelong alumnae member, providing many years of service to the Chicago Northwest Suburban Alumnae Panhellenic.  Deby initially was a teacher in Chicago after college, then spent a number of years in the travel industry in a variety of firms and capacities.  Finally, in 1998, Deby found the "perfect position" with Woodland Windows and Doors in Roselle, working for the Mariotti family - a role and family that she adored.  Deby enjoyed giving back to the community serving for years on the Planning Commission for the Village of Roselle.  Deby found great love and joy in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Worshipping and serving Him at Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows - not only gaining a Savior but also a heartfelt church family.  She also found great love and satisfaction with the Moody Bible Institute and Moody Radio.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester L. Baker and Ruth E. Baker, both of Granite City.
   Surviving family members include her brothers, Byron (Suzan) Baker of Prairie Village, Kan. and Dennis (Dorothy) Baker of Mesa, Ariz.; and nieces and nephews, Brad (Darla) Baker of Eureka, Mo., Megan (Tom Lehr) Baker of Carlyle, Pa., Greg (Monica) Baker of Houston, Texas, Michael (Roxanne) Baker of Houston, Denise Baker Haug of Granite City and Anna Baker Mesa.
   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago or the American Cancer Society.
