Omilee Rogers Hice was the daughter of Starling Rufus Rogers and Ida Lone Salter Rogers. She was the eighth of twelve children. Her name is shown on her birth certificate and several census forms as "Omy Lee Rogers". She married Alton Lester Hice on September 16, 1941 in Phenix City, Alabama. They had five children: Emily Allene Hice (Born - 8 September 1942, Died - 4 September 2008); Alton Lester Hice , Jr. (Born - 4 November 1943, Died - 7 February 2020); William Raymond Hice (Born - 16 October 1946); Rufus Gordon Hice (Born - 25 January 1948); and John Douglas Hice (Born - 11 July 1956).
