Professional Wrestler. When he debuted in the AWA in December of 1979 he was called "Farmer Blackwell," but he intensely disliked that name and insisted that he be called Jerry "Crusher" Blackwell. He held the AWA tag titles with Ken Patera. For a man of over 400 pounds he was very athletic, and was able to do a "standing dropkick," which was considered an amazing feat for a man of his size.
