Born March 28, 1931 in Easton, a son of the late John and Clara Gellock Lear.

His wife, the former Barbara Bossert, died in 1992.

He had been employed b Sobel Manufacturing and L&S Plastics before retiring.

He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Lester Pfeffer Post, Weston Club, and a life member of Citizen Hose.
