Lola Ann Abbott, 62, of Silverton, W.Va., died Aug. 6, 2002.

She is survived by her mother, Georgia; her husband, Edwin; seven sons, Jeffrey, Robert, Daniel, David, Joseph, Scott and Shannon; one daughter, Barbara; three sisters, Hazel, Barbara and Delores; and 15 grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, W.Va. Visitation with be 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood.

Lola Ann Abbott, 62, of Silverton, Jackson County, WV, departed this life August 6, 2002, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV, following an extended illness.

She was born May 20, 1940, in Romance, WV, a daughter of the late Emmit Lanham and Georgia (Young) Lanham of Silverton. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Edwin D. Abbott, sons, Jeffrey Abbott of Ravenswood, Robert Abbott of Winchester, VA, Daniel Abbott of Tuppers Plains, OH, David Abbott and Joseph Abbott, both of Silverton, Scott Abbott of Charleston, Shannon Abbott of Ravenswood, daughter, Barbara Abbott of Ravenswood, sisters, Hazel Lanham of Silverton, Barbara Wilson of Gay, Delores Wolfe of Ravenswood, and 15 grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brothers, Lewis Lanham and Bernard Smith, and a sister, Thelma Kidd.

Graveside service and burial will be on Friday, August 9, 2002-11:00 a.m., in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, WV, with the Rev. Charles Cavender officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
