"The wife of James B. Horning and a former resident of Carroll County, died at her residence, 4955 Linneau Avenue, Washington, DC, Thursday, November 15, 1945. Accidental death was due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Aged 44 years, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Myra S. Lindsay, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Reading, Columbus, Ohio, and one brother, Richard Lindsay, Hyattsville."
