STEVEN EUGENE CLAY, 25, of Wayne passed on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, in Wayne. He was the loving son of Eugene and Brenda Prichard Clay of Wayne and the loving grandson of Mary Clay of East Lynn and Lucille Prichard, with whom he lived. He leaves behind his loving sister, Ashley Jo Clay at home. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ancil Clay, and maternal grandfather, Billy Joe Prichard of Wayne. Also left behind are his uncles, Billy Ray and Kathy Prichard of Wayne and Henry Clay, Tony Clay, Robert and Teresa Clay and Roger and Mary Clay, all of East Lynn; aunts, Doris and David Wilson of Genoa, W.Va., and Shirley Poole of Georgia; special friends, Gary and Matt Queen; and friends and neighbors too numerous to mention. He was a 1997 graduate of Wayne High School and a member of the football team. He was a shipping clerk for UPS. Funeral will be at Johnson-Nichols Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2004; burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Wayne. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at the funeral home
