A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday May 7, at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church for Christine Strachota of Grafton, who died May 3, 2003 at the age of 56. Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery, Mequon. Mueller Funeral Home, Grafton, assisted the family with arrangements.
Ms. Strachota was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 30, 1946 to the late Andrew and Marie (nee Braunreiter) Strachota.
Survivors include: brothers Michael Strachota of Milwaukee, Mark (Vickie) Strachota of Greendale; companion Ellen DeVoe of Grafton; aunt Eleanor Brinkman of Milwaukee; nieces and nephews Gregory Strachota of Waukesha, Stephanie Strachota of Wauwatosa, Shawn (Holley) Gullickson of Champlin, Minn., Michelle Malone of Las Vegas, Nev., Michel Strachota of Milwaukee, Tricia, Tracy and Andy Strachota of Greendale, Kathy (David) Williams of Port Washington and Eric (Dana) DeVoe of Austin, Texas, special friend Steve DeVoe.
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
