He was born May 31, 1913, in Winchester, Mass., the son of Millard F. and Maude P. (Pennell) Chase. He married Lois Begeman on May 27, 1939, in Oshkosh, Wis. She survives. He was preceded by parents, one sister and three brothers. He had been employed by Nicor Gas for more than 20 years, retiring in 1976. Mr. Chase had been an active person in the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Princeton for more than 50 years.
