Mrs. Jacob Beeck, living east of Riverside Cemetery, on the Fred T. Searls farm, died of cancer at the Le Mars hospital Wednesday, May 15, 1912. On May 13 she was taken to the Mayo hospital at Rochester, Minn., where it was found that an operation was useless.

Wilhelmina Wiese was born in Germany December 6, 1881, and married Jacob Beeck in 1908. They arrived in America May 28, 1910, and have since lived on a farm east of this city. Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves her parents, three brothers and three sisters, who live in Germany.

After a service held at her late home tomorrow, Friday, afternoon at 1 o'clock, the funeral will be conducted by Rev. F. Meske, at 2:30 o'clock in the Akron German Lutheran Church. Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
