Jose was born to George and Josie Arispe, on May 29, 1939, in Rocksprings, Texas.
Later on he married Amelia Gonzales, on December 21,1959. They had 9 children, 3 girls and 6 boys. He enjoyed sheep shearing, and he was also a Migrant worker in Minnesota and Iowa. He was a crew leader for many years, where he enjoyed bossing everyone. After his illness he retired at home, spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was also known as Hot Stuff and Pipote. He was loved by all his family and friends and will be missed, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Amelia Arispe; children, Jose Arispe, Jr. and wife, Irma, Dominga Zamudio and husband, Manuel, Paul Arispe, Sr. and wife, Lorena, Fidencio Arispe and wife, Martina, David Arispe and wife, Amelia, Rachel Rivera and husband, Joel, Steven Arispe and wife, Christina; children he raised, Manuel Zamudio, Jr. and wife, Amy, Rachael Zamudio, David Arteaga, Rose Mary Arispe and husband, Ray, and Donaven Arispe. He is also survived by his twenty six grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; brothers, Guadalupe Arispe and wife, Sulema, Vensalado Arispe and wife, Enoelia; sister, Mary Arispe; brother-in-law, Efrain Gonzales and wife, Toni, sister-in-laws, Dulia Samora, Romana Escobar and husband, Angel, Minerva Galindo and husband, Rene; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Josie Arispe; daughter, Elizabeth Arispe; son, Efrain Arispe; granddaughter, Melissa Arispe; grandson, Jonathon T. Arispe; mother-in-law, Jacinta Gonzales, nephew, Chavel Arispe, and brother-in-law, John Wright.
