Mr. Billy John Adams, age 82, of Weldon, passed away Monday, January 02, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 12, 1929 in Weldon, Texas and had lived all of his lifetime in Weldon. Mr. Adams had worked for Bowen Tools Inc. and had retired from the Texas Department of Corrections. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include wife, Barbara Annette Adams; children, Johnny F. Adams, Rickey J. Adams, Mary S. Sessions, Sherry A. Otto, Gerald W. Sousley, Richard G. Sousley, Kathy I. Jones; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceded in death by parents, Charlie R. and Lillie Adams and two brothers.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Billy John Adams will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovelady Antioch Cemetery with Rev. Joe Galleagos and Rev. Reggie Gregory officiating. Interment will follow.
