Cemetery records list her only as "Nannie Beckner" and give no clue to her identity. However, by comparing the names on surrounding graves with cemetery records, Missouri death certificates, and also census returns, it can be concluded that she was Nancy Stevens Beckner, the wife of Robert Beckner and the daughter of Fleming Stevens and Celia Gilbert. She was born in Lebanon, Virginia, 8 April 1870 and died in Lee's Summit, MO, 20 March 1957. She married Robert Beckner 13 September 1888.
