Carl S. Bowman, 65, 1612 W. Seventh St., died Tuesday at Ball Hospital. Born in Freetown, Ind., Mr. Bowman came to Muncie in 1951 from Seymour. In Muncie, Mr. Bowman worked at Warner Gear for 22 years before retiring due to ill health in 1971. He was a member of the Warner Gear Sympathy Club.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita; one sons; two brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thurday at Parson Mortuary with Rev. Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday or prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
