On May 2, 1757, in Frederick County, Maryland, he married Dorothea Elisabetha Paus, daughter of immigrant Christopher Paus and his wife, Magdalena Frey. She was born in Falckner Swamp, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, April 22, 1757. Leonard and Elizabeth were the parents of 7 known children: Maria Magdalena (married Christian Harbaugh), Daniel, Maria Barbara (married John Row), Sophia, John, Catharina (married John Grove) and Henry Benjamin Firor. Leonard was my 4g-grandfather.
