Ruth Grant Kyle 100, died December 29, 2011 in Bellaire, Texas. She was born April 6, 1911 in Franklin, Texas. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Burk Otis Kyle and grandson Robert Randolph Kyle. She is survived by her children and their spouses; Robert and Dolly Kyle of Humble, Texas, Don Kyle of Schulenburg, Texas and Kathy and Rod Barry of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. In earlier years, Ruth was active in the Bellaire Chapter of AARP, serving as President for several terms. She was also active in the Senior Citizens Organization in Bellaire. She loved to play bridge, read a good book and most nights could be seen doing her needlework in front of the television. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed. The funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 3, 2012, 10am at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, 50 Briar Hollow Lane, Suite 310W, Houston, Texas 77027, Attention Sissy Boyd.
