"Lavisa and her husband had to leave Tennessee
and they went to California then on to Verde Valley
of Arizona. Lavisa husband killed or thought he had
killed a man in Tennessee, and they left so he
would not have to stand trial. Apparently he was a very wealthy man."

They had one daughter named Sarah Elizabeth.
Sarah married John Davis and adopted a daughter
named Ella Elizabeth Davis. It's probable John was
Ella's biological daughter by an Ida Weston who
died when Ella was born. Sarah died 1893 on a trip to Grand Canyon with her husband from her an appendix issue.
Sarah's parents, James and Levisa took Ella and raised her.
