Died 5 Jun 1941 at "Longueuil Tp., Prescott Co., Ontario", Canada (10 days short of 81st birthday)
Buried 8 Jun 1941 at "Cassburn", Longueuil Tp., Prescott Co., Ontario, Canada
Notes:
1. In 1860, Ontario was known Canada West (formally, "Province of Canada, West") though most citizens continued using the former name, Upper Canada. Upper Canada/Canada West became "Ontario" with the Confederation of the Dominion of Canada on 1 Jul 1867.
2. In 1822, the level of government, "United Counties of Prescott and Russell", was formed. However, the counties were treated separately for many purposes - Land Registry, Vital Records, Electoral Ridings, etc. The records have a mix of "Prescott Co." and "UC of Prescott and Russell". Use whichever the FG place name wizard allows.
3. Longueuil Tp., West Hawkesbury Tp., Vankleek Hill (town) and L'Orignal (village) were amalgamated and renamed Champlain Tp. on 1 Jan 1998. None of the place name wizards over multiple sites get these dates right."
