BURIAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. ADDINGTON
The body of Mrs. Alice Addington, former Stacyville resident arrived there Tuesday from Pasadena, California, and was interred in the family lot. The Rev. Glenn Hartong was in charge of the service at the grave. The funeral was held at Inglewood, California, because so many former Mitchell County residents now reside there.
Present at the service were Herbert and Raymond Addington, sons of Mrs. Addington, also Mrs. Ralph Owen, of Inglewood, California, who accompanied the body to Osage. Mrs. Henry Schulle, daughter of Mrs. Addington, with whom she had made her home, could not come to Osage at this time.
Surviving besides children mentioned are two other sons, George of Sausalto, California, and Roger, also of California.
The Addington family lived for many years on a farm near Stacyville. After the death of the husband and father Mrs. Addington went to Waterloo to live and resided there until seven years ago, when she went to her daughter's home at Pasadena.
