Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Melancon Funeral Home in Carencro for Faye Adams, age 71, the former Faye Letulier, who passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 6:33 p.m. Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Mrs. Adams was a native of Lafayette and had been a resident of Carencro for more than thirty-five years. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas Charles Borel of Carencro, Gilbert "Joey" Borel and his wife, Joann, of Wesson, MS, Glen Boudreaux and his wife, Jessica, of Breaux Bridge; one brother, Tommy Letulier and his wife, Darlene, of Lafayette; two sisters, Anna Belle Richard and her husband, Louis, of Breaux Bridge, Willa Lea "Poochie" Landry and her husband, Merlin "Joe", of Carencro; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Borel, Jr., second husband, Donald Boudreaux, and third husband, Leo Adams; her parents, Willie Letulier and the former Leona Vincent; one brother, Richard Leger; and one sister Sandra Letulier.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
